Halloween time is almost here!! You know what that means, it’s time for a last minute Halloween costume DIY.
You don’t need a fancy costume, or to spend a lot of money on a costume for only one night.
This is why I decided to make my own costumes that I have worn before.
Two of the costumes that I am about to show you are DIY using clothes that I already had in my closet.
Take a look inside your closet for some last minute Halloween costume DIY ideas.
I only bought one costume this year, but it was on sale, so that’s a bonus!
Keep reading for some great last minute Halloween costume DIY ideas.
Halloween Costume DIY Idea #1- Minnie Mouse

This costume is the one that actually gave me the idea to do this.
I actually dressed up in this same outfit about two years ago. Everyone loved it and I got so many compliments!
If you are looking for a last minute outfit and you have a pair of Disneyland ears this is for you!

I had these ears for years that I got from Disneyland and just put on a black bebe top with this forever 21 skirt.
You can use any red skirt and black shirt. You can even improvise and match the character with your ears, just match the colors.
Not only is this a cute idea, but it will cost you nothing if you already have it in your closet.
Pair this look with a red lip and some cute booties.
Halloween Costume DIY Idea #2- Angel

For this look, I actually had these wings that I got last year at target for their after Halloween sale.
Can you believe they only cost about $2? I thought they were going to be different, but I can’t complain for the price!
You can also get a pair of white wings at the dollar store and just wear a white dress like I did here.
Because you have to open your arms for the wings to spread, I’ll just be a “fallen angel”.

If you want, you can also get a headpiece to make it better.
This is another great last minute Halloween costume DIY,
The look would also be better with white shoes. (All my shoes are packed since I’m moving)
Halloween Costume Idea #3- Bo Peep

This year I was so excited! My husband and I had our costumes planned out to be characters from Toy Story.
My son was supposed to be Woody and my husband Buzz Lightyear.
Well, that did not go as planned. They ran out of my husbands size and he did not want to be buzz anymore, he wanted to be woody.
It would have been great, if only my son hadn’t seen the mickey mouse costume and cried because he didn’t want to be woody he wanted Mickey.
Long story short, my husband went as woody, I went as bo peep, and my son was Mickey. Kids!

Anyway, the whole reason for this story is because I got this costume to go to Hauntoween. It’s this super cool drive-thru Halloween experience nearby.
I even got the wig, but it was so hot and itchy.

This isn’t a Halloween costume DIY but it was under $30.
The costume is from Torrid. It also has pockets and is true to size.
It’s also super cute and I got many compliments!
Final Thoughts
I’m so thankful to Hauntoween for gifting me the ticket to take my family. Check them out!
I’m not sure if they have more tickets, but they did announce they will have a Christmas theme too!
Also I hope these last minute Halloween costume ideas help you out.
This year might be different with everything going on, but dressing up the kids and yourself might help take their minds off things.
There are so many things you can do to celebrate Halloween, like movie night in costumes, etc.
Will you be dressing up this Halloween?
